"Sneaky" moves me, makes me ache in a dense, wispy nostalgia. I miss the 217 line-- Jr. High to back home afterschool to watch god knows what kind of shitty television and eating ungodly amounts of goldfish crackers. the good days. "Sneaky" captures the humanity of the bus in a way i didn't think communicable by language, but maybe i overlooked photography. here it is, that feeling, in a way i thought was only my own, deeply intimate connection between man and bus. This picture taps into more nostalgia, seirously--after all, what's going on with these new buses, with their floppy-dog-ear rear view mirrors hanging stupidly from the tops of the buses? What happened to the clean, industrial lines of the classic? Another indication of a slip down the slope towards poor taste and emptiness. Damn. We need us an Atticus Finch to defend us from the Man.
